Coach Taylor has been the President of the Florida Stealth organization since August 2015. As the Stealth’s founder, Taylor was fundamental in creating a competitive travel team based in the Ponte Vedra area.
Coach Taylor spent eight years as a Division I college coach at Jacksonville University, St. John’s University and Providence College. She took a small hiatus, from July 2011-August 2012, from college coaching when she spent a year honing her training skills as the National Softball Director at Frozen Ropes, a softball/baseball training center whose headquarters are in Chester, New York.
At Frozen Ropes, she was the lead softball instructor for over 300 students. Her duties included spearheading the company’s College Bound Program, which assisted high school players through the recruiting process. She also coordinated the softball travel teams and was the head coach of the 16 and under Frozen Ropes Force.
During her time as a college coach, Taylor worked closely with Big East Player of the Year, Kacee Cox (St. John’s University), and A-Sun Player of the Year Sarah Simon (Jacksonville University).
Her playing days included a stellar four-year career from 2001-05 at Seton Hall University.
She slammed 18 home runs as a freshman, and was the NCAA home run statistical champion. At the beginning of her sophomore year, in 2002, Taylor was invited to the USA Olympic Tryout in Chula Vista, CA.
She closed out her career as one of the top hitters in NCAA history. She is the Pirates’ all-time leader in home runs with 59, a mark that ties her for 18th on the NCAA all-time list. She also had 180 hits and a program-best 160 RBI, was named Big East Player of the Year in 2005 and was a three-time All Big East and All Northeast Region selection.
Five times in her career, Taylor was named Big East Player of the Week and was Seton Hall’s Female Athlete of the Year on three separate occasions.
Taylor’s softball career ended as a part of the National Pro Fastpitch’s (NPF) NY/NJ Juggernaut. She was the NPF’s Player of the Week twice.
Taylor graduated from Seton Hall University (South Orange, NJ) with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2005 and subsequently earned her MBA from St. Johns University (Jamaica, NY). She was inducted into the Seton Hall Athletic Hall of Fame in June of 2019. Her father, Jeff Taylor, spent eight years as the special assistant to the General Manager for the Cincinnati Reds and scouted for the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays.
Coach Beane

Coach Beane was a three sport athlete in high school who received multiple athletic awards including all conference awards and female athlete of the year for each volleyball, basketball, and softball. She followed her love for softball all the way to the University of Florida, where she played as a utility player on the Gators team for a year and a half. After making it to the world series with her team she had fulfilled her dreams as an athlete and wanted to help other, aspiring athletes do the same. After earning a Sport Management degree from the University of Florida in 2022, she went on to be the varsity assistant coach at Atlantic Coast High School for a season and found a passion for coaching. She is excited to be a part of the Florida Stealth family!
Coach Allie

Coach Allie Janowiak recently moved to the Jacksonville area from Maryland where she lettered in Basketball, Field Hockey and Softball in High School. Her college career took her to Millersville University to play softball and study Psychology. After two very successful seasons with a career batting average of .332, Allie traded the snow for the beach and transferred to Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale where she just completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and has already begun her graduate studies in Sports Science. When not going to school or playing her final season of softball, you will find her working out at Orange Theory, interning at JSO or working part time at the Jacksonville Zoo
Coach Becca
12u 2012 Head Coach
Coach Becca moved down from the Suburbs of Chicago and is excited to call Jacksonville her new home! She was a 4-year varsity player in high school setting season and career home run records- standing untouched today. After High School, she went on to win 4 straight conference championships while studying Psychology at the University of St. Francis. After graduation, Becca found a new passion for the game in the form of coaching at her former high school and is eager to continue is with the 5 Tool Training Team!
Coach Megan

Coach Megan moved to Jacksonville from Tampa where she lettered in basketball, volleyball, and softball in high school. She started her college career playing softball at the University of Florida where she won a nation championship. She completed her college career at UF throwing javelin for four years. While at UF she received her undergrad in criminology and her master’s in business management. Megan is excited to transform her love of the sport to a coaching role and help the younger generation achieve their goals.
Coach Sophia
12u 2013 Assistant Coach
Coach Sophia grew up in Jacksonville, played at Mandarin High School all 4 years.
She just finished her playing days at Santa Fe State College for 2 years. While on the team, Santa Fe was nationally ranked in the top 20 for the first time in 4 years.
While sharing her love for the game, she is pursuing her environmental science degree in Jacksonville.
Coach Mare
Coach Marianne Davis is a 2004 graduate of Tennesse Tech and their softball program. Her senior year she was second on the team in batting average and on base percentage, first in runs scored and third in hits and homeruns. She has been an instrumental piece of building the Stealth program into what you see today. She has filled many rolls as head and assistant coach at multiple age levels.
